Happy Secularistmas!

Drinking season has finally arrived! I mean - Christmas. We are heading to the infamous Monster Cabin (where BIG ROCK SHOW was written and researched) to celebrate, skate on the lake, and, yes, you guessed it - possibly indulge in some alcoholic beverages.

I am reading the most spectacular book right now as part of my research for 'The History of the Future'. It's called "As the Future Catches You" by Juan Enriquez. It is absolutely brilliant! About the digital revolution, the upcoming genetic revolution, where the world is heading, who's getting left behind - and it's all written in a sort of pseudo-macluhan-style with changing fonts, pictures in the middle of sentences, room to make notes as you read. A pleasure - highly recommended for anyone who cares about the future.

I also did my first media interview for Rodeo production of 'Future'. It was in BeatRoute magazine, which is apparently a primarily music magazine. I didn't mention that I am tone deaf. Shh, don't tell!
